Tim Burke before his Appearance on the Today Show

Quite a lot of past and current Olympians gathered today around Rockefeller Center in New York City. The reason was the 100 day countdown until the Olympic Winter Games 2010 start in Vancouver. The USOC set up the 'Making the Team USA' event with the Today Show broadcasting live from the Rink at Rockefeller Center.

The US Biathlon Team took the opportunity and introduced their sport to a wider audience in New York. Thanks to a laser biathlon range the spectators could try for themselves if they would be able to hit all the targets a world class biathlete is urged to hit.

With Haley Johnson, Lowell Bailey and Tim Burke the prospective biathletes and biathlon-fans had some great teachers at their side. Tim Burke has been named to the US-Olympic Biathlon Team already based on their last year's results.

Tim Burke also was featured in the Today Show where he sported the Olympic gear for 2010, designed by Polo Ralph Lauren.
