The benefits of clean shooting: 22nd in the Ruhpolding WC Sprint

by Jay Hakkinen / January 17, 2009

It is a good feeling when work pays off. For the past week I have been focusing on my prone shooting which I have been struggling with this season, and now at the Ruhpolding Sprint World cup I shot both prone and standing clean, which helped me to finish in 22nd place. This was a solid result which keeps me in the fight for the top 30 overall ranking, which is especially important with the Mass Start next week.

Up next is the Pursuit competition where I plan to continue with consistent shooting.
