Annelies Cook grew up in Saranac Lake, NY, running around the woods and skiing with her family and best friends. She also spent considerable time trying to keep up with older teammates, Tim Burke, Lowell Bailley and Haley Johnson; all members of the Biathlon National A Team. She is currently going to school at the University of Utah and is also a member of the Utah Ski Team.
